A little about the process ...
Doppelganger Jewelry Designs was born out of a passion for textiles, mixed media, and the rich colors of the spectrum.
Our materials
Our metals are brass, copper, and gold, and are always nickel and lead-free. Our macrame cord is from Bobbiny, who provide a great selection of lush colors, and so soft. Our acrylic is acetate and resin. Leather is typically salvaged. Wood is ethically sourced from Philadelphia, Missouri, Texas, and Minnesota.
Shipping
Orders are shipped within 1-3 days. We ship all items through USPS first class mail with tracking information. You will receive the tracking number once item has shipped. Please allow 5-7 days for transit.
**NOTE: Due to to Covid 19, please be patient as USPS is working around the clock.
Returns
Due to the nature of the items we create, unless the item arrives damaged or defective, we cannot accept returns. However, if you are truly unhappy with your order, please contact us. If your order is damaged while in due to transit, please take a picture and we will find a solution.

Macrame care and cleaning
Sometimes the yarn will become unruly! If it does, take a wet comb and bring it back. I have started to starch each piece to help the fibers lay better. If you are opposed to starch, please let us know! Every piece is stained for durability, but please avoid showering or swimming.

Hello and welcome to my online store!
My name is Joanne Beaulieu and I live in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. I've always been inspired by the textures, colors, and shapes found in nature. I also love exploring how different metals and textiles can enhance one another. Each passing season deepens my desire to find new ways to combine these things into beautiful pieces of wearable art.
What started as a creative pursuit while my babies slept has become a passion and a growing business. I first started selling my jewelry at local arts and craft shows, but when demand rose, I began reaching out to consignment shops. The excitement continued to grow, and I realized I needed a website to inform people where they could find my jewelry at local stores and also to sell directly to customers.
While the fourteen years since I started this endeavor have flown by, one thing that hasn't changed is my love of the craft. That's as strong as ever.
